I'm slowly getting caught up on some of my commenting. DH is doing better after his surgery. No pushing, pulling, lifting for him till August. I am so thankful that my SIL and granddaughter have been able to pitch in with some of the chores.
This card is for the CASual Friday Challenge which is to make a CAS card with 'bling' and the CASE Study Muse inspiration challenge.
All papers are from DCVW paper pad 'Linen Closet', edger is a Sizzix die, flowers are from an EK Success punch. The base of this card was made narrower so that it would fit into an A2 envelope even with the overlapping circle and banner. No extra postage required. :-)
The background was stamped with a HA Envelope stamp then embossed with Stardust embossing powder. The flower and the sentiment were highlighted with a Stardust pen and the tiny rhinestones under the sentiment and in the flower center were colored with a Copic marker.
This is the wonderful inspiration from Aga.

Love the simplicity and sparkle of this Marie and the way everything gravitates toward the lower half of the card.
Glad your DH is doing well, sounds like he gets a nice summer rest ;)
No pushing, pulling, or lifting? That's a tall order! I hope he's a good patient (meaning you don't have to chase him to make sure he's not doing those things anyhow!) Glad that he's doing better - I hope it continues!
Beautiful card - the subtle sparkle is lovely, and the overlapping elements are too cool! Excellent trick with the narrower base :)
Love the sparkle on your fabulous CAS card, Marie. It's perfect...not too much and catches the light beautifully. Your layout is lovely, too.
I'm just catching up with everyone. Sorry to hear that your husband has undergone surgery...hope he makes a speedy recovery. But men can be the worst patients, as they won't always conform to doctors orders xx
