Time for another Timeless Tuesday Challenges at Flourishes. Mona is this week's hostess and she is challenge everyone to create a tag or card focusing on a "Fruit" theme.
I am extremely disappointed in my camera....the cardstock behind the image actually matches the cherries but for some unknown reason it looks 'pinkish' in the photo and all the other photos that I took with different lighting :-(
The cherries were coated with glossy accents to give them a bit of shine. The sketch that was used to create this card was from Tuesday Morning Sketches.
There's still time to enter the Flourishes challenge and the Tuesday Morning Sketches challenge. Both offer prizes!!! So grab some papers and play along.
Back to creating cards in my Butterfly Garden.
Oh Marie those cherries look scrumptious! Love the gloss on them. They make me think of our last two summer vacations in Michigan, fresh cherries at road side stands ~YUM!!! Don't you hate the color thing with photos...ugh.

YUMMY...these cherries are mouthwatering delicious! Love how you colored them and the glossy accent is perfect! Thank you for playing the FTTC with us...hugs ~S~
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card Marie! Those cherries look good enough to eat! Great job bringing them to life! Thanks for joining along with Flourishes!
ReplyDeleteOh, frustrating! I am no photographer, believe me, but one tip I saw ages ago was to use either a white or a black background, because it makes it easier for your camera to contrast the colours, and it seems to work for me. Now focusing properly...lol, that's gonna need help(for me!)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE how you've coloured the cherries - the highlights are perfect, and the glossy accents makes them look even better!
This is so pretty!! Your coloring is amazing!!
ReplyDeleteAnd no purple! :) (not my fave color, either)
In the Bible, purple represented royalty and wealth. They mocked Jesus at His crucifixion and put a purple robe on Him.
So pretty. Love the gloss on the cherries, so beautiful.
