I used an MFT die to make a stencil for the corner background of my card and the doily is a PTI die. I am sure that the Virginia's View Challenge expects more stenciling than I did, but I felt that anymore of those Polka Dots would make the card too busy. Sometimes "Less IS More"!!
Back to creating cards in my Butterfly Garden.
p.s....Sorry Dr. John no cars or trains.......lol
Looks pretty darn good to me!! Your quilling is wonderful Marie. I need to show this to my SIL, she dabbles in quilling from time to time!
ReplyDeleteAwesome quilling -- love the subtle stenciling~
ReplyDeleteYour stenciled background is just the perfect amount for this design, Marie! The quilled flowers are amazing (I haven't quite got the hang of it yet)! Gorgeous composition! Thanks so much for playing Virginia's View challenge!
ReplyDeleteFrom Dr. John: " Hi Marie, I also like airplanes..." :)

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to reply so late Marie, but the circumstances have not been very good lately!
Despite the delay, I want to say thank you for your nice comment, and how much I appreciated!
