It's back to nature this week at The Paper Players. The challenge is to use an animal or plant on your Clean and Simple card.
All stamps are from Inky Antics. They have the most delightful, fun loving stamps. The image was colored with Prisma Colored pencils, then Gamsol was used to blend the colors. The dies are from SB, striped paper from a DCWV pad and the embossing folder is Sizzix.
I didn't have a cute embellishment so I stamped the turtle image (from the set) onto a piece of Shrinky Dink paper, cut the image and then shrunk it with my heat gun.
But wait the best is yet to come....Are you ready for the surprise?......Wait for it!.....
This is the surprise on the inside of the card. The turtle shell was made with a HoneyPOP Tissue paper pad. Isn't that a fantastic 3D effect? Notice the bird sliding on the turtle shell? Looks like he's having fun....just as much fun as I had making this card.
Back to creating cards in my Butterfly Garden.

Fantastic card! I love the little scene that you made on the inside. I have the same set but haven't had the inspiration to make it into a card yet. Thanks for the ideas and great examples.
And what a surprise it is! The front of this card is just adorable and the inside is amazing. Whoever gets this card will love it. Thanks for joining the Paper Players this week!
How adorable, Marie! Of course, I'm just a *little* biased. ;-) That shrink plastic embellishment is a great idea. Love it!
Marie, this is truly one of the most adorable cards I have seen in ages. The inside is absolutely stunning. Such a fabulously creative take on the Paper Players challenge this week. So glad you could join us.

This is the "tweetest" card. I love how you used a shrinky dink for your embellishment. I have been toying with that idea and now you have given me inspiration. The inside of this card is just a fabulous as outside. One can't help but smile seeing those cure birds and turtle. Thanks for playing the week with The Paper Players!
