Simple "TEXT" Note Cards

Hello all my wonderful blogging friend. And a HUGE thank you to everyone who contacted me to check on my well being. Sorry I haven't been around. After 22 years...I had to update my resume and go 'pounding the pavement' literally and figuratively. When life hands you lemons.....you set up a lemonade stand!  Fortunately I was able to find a job but during the search I lost my "Mojo". I spent a great deal of time in self examination and am starting to get back onto the swing of things. Lots of adjustment yet to come, including working days, evenings, weekends and/or holidays.

After checking out the latest challenges, I decided to get my muse thinking about the "Text" challenge at CAS-ual Fridays. I made a set of 8 note cards each with a different text.

The same LO and edger was used for all of the cards just the embossing, flowers, colors and 'text' has been changed. An article that I read, a while ago, stated that if you found a LO that you liked, use it over and over...just change the images. This was a great way to re-connect with my Copic markers.

This is a set of all occasion cards...birthday, thank you, sympathy, thinking of you and get well, just to name a few.

I colored four of each image, fussy cut them and used one somewhere on the inside of each card. Rather than show you all of the insides here is just one of the eight. The thank you cards have plenty of space to write a personal message.

Now that the creative juices are flowing once again I'll see you real soon!

Back to creating cards in my Butterfly Garden.

Hi Marie!

So good to see you found your mojo...your cards are beautiful...inside too!

What kind of work will you be doing? It sounds a bit like my nursing schedule...7 a.m.-7 p.m., holidays, weekends.... I have gotten used to it over the years. Whatever you are doing, I hope you enjoy it!

Wow, Marie, that's a big change! It's been 13 +years for me, and I can only imagine the turmoil of trying to make such a huge change, the schedule being only part of it. Congratulations on finding a job, and setting up that lemonade stand!
I love the beautiful cards you treated us to today - a wonderful mix of colours& flowers! I think this is my favourite way to make a set - keep the layout, change the colours, and voila! Matchy but not TOO matchy :)

We'll take two glasses of the pink please ~ one with a straw and one without! How are you my friend? I really should have checked up on you, sorry about that. I thought you might be taking a blogging/nurse maid break or a vacation. Hope all is well with your husband. Your cards are beautiful as always, glad you found some time to play. Take care, you've been missed ;)

Hi Marie,
Just read your post...I wondered why I hadn't seen you posting. I know what you mean about losing your Mojo if you haven't created something for a while. Although, looking at your pretty note cards, it looks like yours has now returned. They are all beautiful...outside and in x
