I am really enjoying these one layer cards. There was a time when I would cringe at the thoughts of making a card with only one layer.....but not now!! I think this type of card is a REALLY difficult challenge bit if it was easy it wouldn't be called a challenge! The Less is More challenge is to create a one layer 'Thank You' card and the One Layer Simplicity challenge for May is all about 'Flowers'. I combined the two.
I really love tulips but I wish they would last longer.

Spring Flowers
Only about 16 days till 'Spring' officially arrives, at least that's what the calendar says. Let the countdown begin. The temperatures should be in the low 20's today, which will feel like a heat wave after a wind chill factor of -2 yesterday.
This card using the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch was created with 'SPRING' in the back of my mind. I have had enough of that 'white color'!! Or is white the 'presence of all colors'?
This is the sketch that I used to create this card.

A Black Tie Sketch
This is Black Tie week at Dynamic Duos with the dessert option to use 'brads'. I combined these colors on a great sketch from Retro Sketches.
The stamp is from HA, Eiffel Tower die cut MFT, dp Basic Grey and ribbon from Michaels. The flower and large brad in the center are from my stash. Copic markers were used to color the flesh and the handbag, glitter was applied to the Eiffel Tower.
This is the Dynamic Duo color palette for the week:
