Spring Watercolors

It is "one layer week" at Less Is More. I found a brand new challenge at Virginia's View. This challenge is the first of many, I am sure! Cant wait to see what other challenge Virginia has in store for us. Virginia is challenging everyone to create a card using a 'water coloring' technique. I am also using this card to play along with the One-Layer Simplicity Challenge #3---Just Add Water!

I love the challenge of creating a "one layer card" and I had forgotten how much I enjoyed water coloring.
This card was made with water color paper and colored using mostly Distress Inks and of course 'water'!

With just a few colors you can get a lot of shading using the water color technique!

Spring Flowers

Only about 16 days till 'Spring' officially arrives, at least that's what the calendar says. Let the countdown begin. The temperatures should be in the low 20's today, which will feel like a heat wave after a wind chill factor of -2 yesterday.

This card using the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch was created with 'SPRING' in the back of my mind. I have had enough of that 'white color'!! Or is white the 'presence of all colors'?
